Sooji lee is a Korean who was raised in Jakarta, Indonesia since she was 6. She studied her BA in industrial design department in Seoul, Korea and worked in Newyork as a graphic designer. Now she is living in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Recently she graduated information design ma at design academy Eindhoven and nominated Gijs Bakker award with her graduation design project ‘craftsmanship, how to write bodoni lowercases’.
Sooji lee defines herself as a designer who stand between object and graphic, specifically the space inside flat paper. She mainly interested in the methodological thinking for graphic design processes and aims to reflect values inside.
